I just read "Keeper of My Soul" - Awesome!

"I have read a lot of ficitonal books. And, this is the first I've read of its kind (christian). I was happy to see/read something that was juicy, exciting, and still christian based. Keeper of My Soul has everything! Drama, love, friendship, companionship, infidelity, heartbreak...EVERYTHING! When I got home tonight I couldn't wait to talk about it to my fourteen year old daughter, who, by the way,  you've become an inspiration to her and she now wants to read your books too. We're both book readers (she more than me!) This is by far the best book I've read so far in 2011! And, even though its' the 12th I've read 5 so far (did I mention I was a reader? LOL)

All I have to say is keep it up, girl! You are very talented! The book was fantastic, in fact, I went online tonight and purchased His Grace, His Mercy and By the Grace of God! Both my daughter and I said we would love to see this book as a movie! Maybe one day! No harm in someone dreaming for another sister in Christ! "For I know the plans I have for you." Jeremaiah 29:11." --Solheia (SolG)

5.0 out of 5 stars God Is Always Working Behind the Scenes

This review is from: His Grace, His Mercy (Paperback) Sharel Love "Sharel E. Gordon-Love, Author"

Author Keshia Dawn has penned a wonderful Christian fiction novel that assures us that God will meet us where we live in His Grace, His Mercy. God's love and compassion was evident in the heart of Kendra's best friend, Gracie, although Kendra committed the worst act of deception between friends. Gracie's forgiveness stretched further than any normal friendship would allow. Unable to fight the urge to give up on life, Kendra stopped taking her required meds and neglected to take care of herself and soon lapsed into a coma, only to be rescued by Gracie. Feeling obligated to be by Kendra's side, Gracie spent several hours a day by Kendra's side while putting her marriage at risk. While Kendra argued her reason for wanting to die, God, in all His wisdom, ministered to her and showed her who she was and what was needed for her to experience true deliverance, love and peace. Will Kendra allow God to lead her to the place He has for her? Will He use the very people who were instrumental in causing her troubled state-of-mind? Most importantly, will Kendra find the main thing that will give her complete freedom from her past, and a brighter outlook for her future? I enjoyed reading His Grace, His Mercy, simply because it is a testimony that God will meet you no matter what state your life is in, and redeem you back to Him with greater things in store for your life. God has a way of working things out, even those things from the past that have an effect on our present lives. God works behind the scenes, orchestrating things we do not know about, before allowing them to manifest in our lives. I recommend this book to those who struggle with forgiveness. This book was provided to me courtesy of the author.

Through Thick and Thin

In By the Grace of God, author Keshia Dawn introduces readers to Gracie Gregory, who just knew she had met her life mate in Dillian McNab.  That was, until he unexplainably walks out of Gracie’s life.  This is the one event that sets Gracie on an emotional roller coaster ride.  Although Gracie has the support of her parents, her best friend, Kendra, and lifelong friend Marcus, to help her move on with her life, Gracie is unable to find the resolve to let go of her failed relationship with Dillian until she finds the answer to the burning question of “Why did he leave?”

Between the mounting demands of owning and operating a business, her complex relationship with her best friend, Kendra; rekindling a flame with her first love, Marcus; and having been dealt a heart-wrenching blow by her ex-fiancée, Gracie is under surmounting pressure.  She finds herself in a web of vengeance, deception and sexual immorality that would seemingly leave the average person broke down, torn apart and left with nothing or no one.  Readers will discover that it is “by the grace of God” that Gracie finds the strength to forgive, live and let live.

While reading By the Grace of God, I particularly enjoyed the fact that the author allowed her main character to be strong and independent, yet weak in ways that proved humanistic and realistic.  The storyline progressed in a timely fashion for me and I found myself wanting to know what happened next.  The ending was somewhat surprising for me, but it is people like Gracie that prove to be the way they are, only, by the grace of God.

I would definitely read another book by Keshia Dawn.

God's Grace By The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers(RAWSISTAZ.com and BlackBookReviews.net)-

For this moment in her life, Gracie Gregory can envision her dreams coming to fruition. She has all the key ingredients: living in an upscale neighborhood, owning a prosperous fitness center, and being engaged to a generous and loving man named Dillion. Her attention is for support. It takes a major effort on her part, but Gracie begins to pick up the pieces of her shattered life. After a little investigation, she learns that Dillion has dropped completely out of sight and he is harboring a terrible secret. There are issues with a life threatening disease that could have devastating effects on those close to him. on their upcoming marriage, and she is anxiously anticipating the time they will start their family. Gracie feels these two additions will make her life complete. But, every so often, life does not follow a positive path, and the unexpected occurs. Unfortunately for Gracie, her seemingly perfect life begins to unravel. She and her fiancé begin having major problems. Then, one day out of the blue, Dillion moves out of their apartment, and severs all contact with her. Gracie is devastated by the break up and she turns to her friends and family

BY THE GRACE OF GOD by Keshia Dawn is an emotional story that highlights so many human feelings: love, betrayal and forgiveness. But the strength of this story is the emphasis on faith and trust in God. As the message pulls readers in, they will feel when the characters realize that things can be conquered 'by the grace of God.' This is a heartfelt read
